April, 2009 - Latest news is that another draft is completed which will be the shooting draft for now. A trailer production shoot is scheduled for later this summer or fall. Cast is being considered for the various roles.

December 15, 2008 - Latest screenplay draft is completed.

December 5, 2008 - Now that my work is finished on the feature The Border, I am putting renewed effort into completing a budget and business plan for the film. We should have this done in a few weeks. In the meantime we will be getting the screenplay out to some notable SAG actors. 

November 11, 2008 - A new draft of the screenplay is completed with some major plot changes and more funny gags!

October 16, 2008 - Andrew Mathisen joins the team as Executive Producer and will be negotiating production funds and distribution to territories in Asia.

October 3, 2008 - First round of casting calls is announced for Oct. 19th. The screenplay has now been updated by the writers. A budget breakdown is in the works for our Producers and Investors.

September 1, 2008 - Used Car Joey Official Website goes LIVE.

April 27, 2008 - Incredibly, a first draft is completed and registered with the WGA West.

March 3, 2008 - George L. Heredia, Antonio Gangemi and Aimee Parrott first discuss the screenplay ideas.
